About lb.
Per pound, per lb, however you want to say it
The story behind my seasoning & spice blends is quite simple. With my love for food and my continuous want to learn through cooking, I have reached the stage in my culinary journey in which I do not use recipes or measurements. The problem being however, that my boyfriend for one, would ask me how much of each ingredient I put into a dish so he could recreate it, and I could never give him a definite answer. So to everyone who cooks: I have taken the time to measure out different seasoning & spice blends, so that you don't have to. Each blend is inspired by a different flavor profile and various cuisines to help create bold food at home. I am forever grateful to be sharing my kitchen with all of you.
Sincerely,
L.B.
P.S. And as for the name "/lb.," in cooking terms, it refers to the common measurement of "per pound," but to me, it also means something else. In elementary school, a classmate of mine decided to coin the nickname "pound" for me—my initials are L.B. Being 10 years old, I of course thought he was trying to be mean or somehow say that I was overweight (it's amazing what goes through the head of a 10 year-old).
But it is because of that elementary school flashback that I wanted to use my initials as part of the name—my classmate was really quite clever. The love that I have for food and cooking is unwavering, so I am so glad to be able to share my initials and my cooking measurements through my blends.
